Ok, if you’re not into this kind of music, you won’t want to stick around, but just in case you haven’t heard the awesome new single from Motley Crue, here it is, in all it’s glory. It’s awesome and I can’t wait for the full CD to come out!

It doesn’t help that I don’t have internet at home and so I can’t just get up and post my thoughts on each book as I finish them. I will review the books I’m missing but it might take me a bit to do so.

Also the last 2 week’s questions for BTT just didn’t appeal to me, which is why I never did them. But I will return as soon as I find a question I feel I can answer.

If you could meet one author and have dinner with them, who would it be? Would you pick their brain about how they write their books, how the come up with their ideas, or would you just hold normal non-writing conversations with them?

My answer currently would be Stephen King. I would love to ask him how he comes up with his book ideas, and if it’s true that once he finishes them he never reads them. I heard that once, that he won’t read his books once he finishes writing them because they’re too scary for him!

And this week’s Booking Through Thursday question is:

While acknowledging that we can’t judge books by their covers, how much does the design of a book affect your reading enjoyment? Hardcover vs. softcover? Trade paperback vs. mass market paperback? Font? Illustrations? Etc.?

Well… I prefer softcover to hardcover, mass market to trade paperback. Font doesn’t matter, illustrations in the book don’t matter to tell the truth. If it’s a favorite author, it won’t matter what the outside looks like at all. If I haven’t heard of the author, it’s usually the title of the book, not the cover of it that catches my eye, so frankly, the design or artwork of a book don’t really matter to me.

This is an interesting question for us readers I think, and it comes, as usual from Booking Through Thursday:

You’ve just reached the end of a book . . . what do you do now? Savor and muse over the book? Dive right into the next one? Go take the dog for a walk, the kids to the park, before even thinking about the next book you’re going to read? What?

Myself, I usually stare at the book for a few seconds, cheer a bit that I finished yet another one, and then dive into the next book. Otherwise, I’ll get on the computer. However, since for the time being, I am internet-free at home, I’ll be doing a lot more reading and cross stitching. This should be fairly interesting, because I live alone. LOL

Hmmm, that’s a tough one honestly. Most of the time I don’t finish a book if I don’t like it, and most of the ones I’ve read, I love. I would have to say that pretty much any Danielle Steele book would have been better if it didn’t have the same basic plot line as every OTHER Danielle Steele book out there. If every book didn’t have to include some horrible tragedy or stunning divorce, they’d all be a lot better.

You should have seen this one coming … Who is your favorite Male lead character? And why?

To be perfectly honest, I don’t really have one. Most of the books I read focus mainly on female characters. If I honestly HAD to choose one, I’d probably have to say Lestat. He’s arrogant, he thinks he’s always right, he’s vicious, and he’s a vampire. What more can you ask for? And….Stuart Townsend played him in Queen of the Damned. YES!

I am no longer backlogged! I have completed all the reviews for the books I’ve read so far. So now I can relax and finish reading the two I have going right now so I have more books to review for you.
