BTT: Leading Lady
Here’s last week’s Booking Through Thursday question.
Who is your favorite female lead character? And why? (And yes, of course, you can name more than one . . . I always have trouble narrowing down these things to one name, why should I force you to?)
Right now, my favorite is JD Robb/Nora Roberts’ Eve Dallas from the “In Death” series by JD Robb. She’s a kick ass cop, she doesn’t take crap from anyone, and but she has a softer side that only a select few are allowed to see.
Another favorite is Merry Gentry from the Meredith Gentry series by Laurell K. Hamilton. I love anything fey, and frankly, she’s an awesome heroine in my opinion. She keeps her cool in the face of adversity, which is good because in this series there’s a lot of it!
